Farpoint Project is new and small, and moving. It runs on mentors who give their time and insights, and institutions willing to open their doors to our students.

Founder & Co-mentor
I studied Neuroscience at Villanova University and am now a medical student at Stanford University School of Medicine, training to become a physician-scientist.
My research interests lie in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, specifically using stem cells to develop new therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative disease and cancer. Alongside it sits a second commitment: that medical innovations reach past major academic medical centers and big cities, to the communities that have the least access to them.
Farpoint Project works toward the same thing from the other side: helping students from those communities become the physicians and scientists themselves.
