Founder
Kojo is from Takoradi, Ghana. He holds a BS in Neuroscience from Villanova University and is a medical student at Stanford University School of Medicine, training to become a physician-scientist.
His research interests lie in regenerative medicine, using neural stem cell biology to develop new therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative disease and cancer. Alongside it sits a second commitment: that medical innovations reach past major academic medical centers and big cities, to the communities that have the least access to them.
Farpoint Project works toward the same thing from the other side — helping students from those communities become the doctors and scientists themselves.
